Dar interviews Rollin from Spectro Performance Oils.
Spectro Performance Oil products span the full range of fully-synthetic, semi-synthetic and petroleum lubricants for all classes of “powersports” engine and transmission applications.
The Spectro line also includes a wide range of suspension fluids, fork oils, brake fluids, coolant, chain lubes/waxes, filter cleaners and oils, and protection/appearance products.
Dar Holdsworth, Brass Balls BossMan, attended the Biker Pros Garage Party & SS Trike Intro at A Bikers Garage in Texas.
Penny O of Barnett’s Magazine and Robert Filla of Thunder Press came out to check out his Model 1 Bobber, Classic Bobber and SS Trike. Both publications will be featuring the bikes in an upcoming publication.
Dar talked to the enthusiasts, worked the crowd on mic and enjoyed the festivities.
The event introduced Jason Nieman, President of SS Trike, and his BIG WHEEL 3 Wheeler. It was a hit with the press and the attendees.
The Model 1S was loaned out to Chris Maida, Editor of American Iron Magazine, and Chris Callen, Editor of Cycle Source Magazine, to do a review on this value-laden Digger Bobber during the 2009 edition of Sturgis.
Chris Maida, Editor of American Iron Magazine, test rode the Brass Balls Bobbers’ Model 1S Digger Bobber during the 2009 edition of Sturgis. His report is in the March 2010 edition of American Iron Magazine.
One of the unique features of the bike is the suspended seat plus the hidden suspension below the frame. It provides a very cushy ride on this bare-knuckle motorbike.
The Model 1S comes with high-value components including a D&D Performance Enterprise’s 2-into-1 header system, Baker Drivetrain, Tauer Machine belt primary and a strong running EVO 80″ mill with a S&S Super E carb and air cleaner.

Darwin Motorcycles, manufacturer of Brass Balls Choppers & Bobbers, announced today that Excel Components is participating in the IronWorks Magazine / Brass Balls Giveaway Bobber by providing brushed hand controls, foot controls and switch housings for the build.
Catch the build on Bikernet & IronWorks - Bikernet.com, the giveaway online content sponsor, and IronWorks Magazine are focused on getting the information out to their readers on how motorcycle products work and how the bikes are assembled. Dar Holdsworth, Brass Balls BossMan, has his own cadre of Angels and is now ready to fight crime… Well, maybe drink beer and bench race. Either way, he has the transportation covered. (The Model 1 is the right bike at the right price)
The following is a selection of pictures from the Smoke Out Long Road stop in Oklahoma City, OK.
The Smoke Out is about choppers. It is about builders, from professional builders to those bloody-knuckled guys (and ladies) burning the midnight oil in an unheated shed to build a chopper they can call their own. (more…)
Dar Holdsworth, Brass Balls Bobbers’ Capo, attended the opening of the Art of the Chopper exhibition on September 20, 2008 at the Clinton Presidential Center in Little Rock, Arkansas.
“These motorcycles are really rolling art on two wheels that capture our true American spirit,” said Holdsworth. “Innovation, commitment and on-the-edge design oozes from these machines.”
Hard-pressed Motorcycle Consumers Can Find Relief With a 40+ mpg Custom Bobber
Darwin Motorcycles, manufacturer of Brass Balls Bobbers & Choppers is sticking it to the man by providing a relief package for Bobber & Chopper enthusiasts that includes a $500 off on 5 speed and $1,000 off on 6 speed motorbikes, which runs through December 31, 2008.
“The financial crisis and energy crisis have created the perfect storm of uncertainty for the enthusiast,” said Dar Holdsworth, Brass Balls Bobbers’ BossMan. “With our 40+ mpg motorbikes and our financial bailout program we are doing our part to keep the wheels of America rolling.”
The firm’s bailout package delivers the Bobber and Chopper lifestyle at less than the introductory price of just $17,995. The reason why Darwin Motorcycles can deliver a sharp and creative motorcycle at such a competitive price is because of the economies of scale that are built into the manufacturing process.
Going to Sturgis? Then plan on meeting Dar Holdsworth, Chief Designer. Dar will be camped out at Bikernet’s Brouhaha on Friday, August 8, 2008 in the Bikernet Booth located at Thunder Road.
Dar Brings The Award Winning Custom Digger
Dar will be bringing his Military Digger Bobber, which represents the arm services of America. The motorbike is built with some cutting edge components from Metzeler tires to Crime Scene lights and air cleaner. A unique piece of the build is an engine from Crazy Horse, which is called a V-Plus engine. The bike not only looks good, but with the V-Plus it runs like a scalded cat.
