2010 Sturgis Photos
We had an outstanding event at the 70th annual Sturgis Rally. We set up across from Shade Tree Fabrications at the entrance to the Buffalo Chips campground. The Rats Hole Bike Show was down from us and sported some outstanding iron.
We constructed a photo booth with our friends at Foremost Insurance and had our Brass Balls’ Chopper Girls take pictures with our customers and new friends on the Foremost Insurance Bobber.

Darwin Motorcycles’ custom production Brawler GT3 took 2nd place at the AMD World Championship of Custom Bike Building during the 70th annual edition of the Sturgis Rally. The production class produced the strongest competition to date and Team Brass Balls came in 2nd with the Brawler and 4th with the Rocketeer.
Check out the video interview and award presentation.
The cult classic FXR inspired the Brawler GT3. The Brawler includes a rubber mounted power train and killer styling. This bike will handle with the best of them yet is also a convertible. Go for a day or for a week.

Pulp fiction were published as inexpensive magazines from 1896 through the 1950s. Brass Balls has designed a motorcycle that is a physical representation of the romance of that era with their new Rocketeer.
The Rocketeer is a superhero created by writer/illustrator Dave Stevens. The character first appeared in 1982 and is a homage to the pulp heroes of the 1930s and 1940s.

In 1938 Los Angeles, Cliff Secord, a local racing pilot and barnstormer, discovers a mysterious package hidden in his airplane. Prior to his discovery, the police have chased down and killed two gangsters nearby after a prolonged gun battle. In that package, Cliff soon finds what the police really have been pursuing: a stolen rocket backpack.
Dar Holdsworth, Brass Balls BossMan, attended the Biker Pros Garage Party & SS Trike Intro at A Bikers Garage in Texas.
Penny O of Barnett’s Magazine and Robert Filla of Thunder Press came out to check out his Model 1 Bobber, Classic Bobber and SS Trike. Both publications will be featuring the bikes in an upcoming publication.
Dar talked to the enthusiasts, worked the crowd on mic and enjoyed the festivities.
The event introduced Jason Nieman, President of SS Trike, and his BIG WHEEL 3 Wheeler. It was a hit with the press and the attendees.
This is the perfect sled for under the tree activity. Santa and his little helper would love waking up to this tasty Bobber.
And you can save $1,000 by buying it before the end of the year. The custom-production bike has all the good stuff and will be increased by $1,000 on January 1, 2010.
The value-priced Model 1 retails for $15,995 and the softail-style Model 1S comes in at just $1,000 more.

Darwin Motorcycles, manufacturer of Brass Balls Choppers & Bobbers, announced today that Excel Components is participating in the IronWorks Magazine / Brass Balls Giveaway Bobber by providing brushed hand controls, foot controls and switch housings for the build.
Catch the build on Bikernet & IronWorks - Bikernet.com, the giveaway online content sponsor, and IronWorks Magazine are focused on getting the information out to their readers on how motorcycle products work and how the bikes are assembled. Their readers enjoy retro bobbers like the ones that roll out of the Lil’ shop in Oklahoma, which are light weight, fast and provide serious fun.
Chris Callen, Editor of Cycle Source Magazine, took the Model 1S custom-production bobber for a spin while he was up in Sturgis this year. He liked what he saw in the value-priced bobber that features a brushed aluminum and black finish.
The Model 1S looks just like a rigid with its sprung seat and softail-style hidden shocks. But the ride is plush because of the double suspension. If you have been hankering for a bobber but your back sez whoa, you can now go. (more…)
Adam Lynch, USMC, headed to Brass Balls HQ in Oklahoma City, OK on May 11th to pick up his new custom-production Digger. While there he joined the Smoke Out Long Road party that had just rolled in from Smoke Out West.
With the evening air filled with the Jasmine Cain Band’s rock and roll hitting like waves from the sea, Lynch shook down his new custom bike and declared it ready to rubble.
Chuck Palumbo, WWE Wrestling Star, dug out two fives and autographed them for the Military Bobber Raffle. For just $10 smacks you could take home a $30,000 custom motorcycle from Brass Balls Bobbers. Click here to enter.
It is the least expensive way to put a custom motorcycle in your garage.
The Intrepid Fallen Heros Fund - Brass Balls is raffling off the Military Bobber with the proceeds going to the Intrepid Fallen Heros Fund.
