Hot Bike Magazine Presents Our Military Bobber in The World Championship

3rd Place in World Championship Brass Balls Bobbers’ Military Bobber placed 3rd in the World Championship of Custom Bike Building at the2008 edition of Sturgis. You can see the bike and all the competition in the World Championship Magazine presented by Hot Bike. It is on news stands now and available until 1/27/2009.

We started with a clear powder-coated Brass Balls Bobbers’ gooseneck frame to show its high quality construction. The frame is 1026 DOM steel and hand TIG welded.

As an option, we now have custom calipers by Hawg Halters sporting the Brass Balls Bobbers’ logo. The four-pot calipers are powder coated black with the company’s logo etched in.

Free Baker 6-Speed Powerbox Transmission
Baker Drivetrain hit the ball out of the park with their BAKER Torquebox transmission. It’s tough, heavy duty and looks cool. They had so much success with it that they thought they would make a tranny that looked like the Torquebox but was built for stock and mildly modified motorbikes. Thus the BAKER Overdrive 6-Speed Powerbox was born.

The Giveaway Bobber roller debuted at the Bikernet Brouhaha, the biker event that rocked the Thunder Dome in Sturgis. The sled was displayed at the Bikernet booth with Brass Balls Bobbers’ Capo, Dar Holdsworth, on hand discussing his latest creation.

Dar Attends the Art of the Chopper Exhibition

Dar Holdsworth, Brass Balls Bobbers’ Capo, attended the opening of the Art of the Chopper exhibition on September 20, 2008 at the Clinton Presidential Center in Little Rock, Arkansas.

“These motorcycles are really rolling art on two wheels that capture our true American spirit,” said Holdsworth. “Innovation, commitment and on-the-edge design oozes from these machines.”
